Welcome to Remote Presentation Tutorial

Download the app here on Play Store.

Thank you for helping Remote Presentation grow. Remote Presentation is an Android app which allows you to navigate your desktop presentations with your smartphone, via WiFi connection. Remote Presentation supports navigation of MS Powerpoint presentations, MacOS Keynote presentations and Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF presentations on both MS Windows and MacOS platform. A Desktop Host is needed in order for Remote Presentation to connect to your desktop. See below for instructions.

Download Remote Presentation Desktop Host from link below (choose slow download):

MS Windows: https://bit.ly/2l10VRO

MacOS:           https://bit.ly/2HAKq7P

For Windows users, after downloading "remote-presentation-vx.x.zip", extract the .zip file in your desired PC space. After extraction, you should see "remote-presentation-vx.x.exe" file in extracted folder. Run the exe file from the extracted folder.

For MacOS users, just right click on the downloaded .app file and choose 'Open'.

If prompted by your Firewall, allow the Desktop Host to access the network, in order to connect with the Remote Presentation mobile app. Select to allow communication with public or private networks, according to your preference.

It is recommended to allow Public networks option. You will in most cases be presenting on a non-home network (eduroam, conference network, etc.).

In your Remote Presentation Android app, select from 4 presentation options:

MS PowerPoint

Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF (MS Windows)

MacOS Keynote

Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF (MacOS)

Upon selection of a presentation option, connect to your Desktop Host using the IP address displayed on the Desktop Host.

Make sure both your smartphone and PC are on the same network.

Navigate your desktop presentation with Remote Presentation Android app.

Make sure your desktop presentation software (Powerpoint, Keynote, Adobe Acrobat Reader) is on most foreground of your desktop.

You can also use volume down / up buttons or swipe right / left to navigate forward / backward.
